Over/understimulation or other? What casuses your seizures?

I'm curious about what provokes persons epileptic events. If you would be so kind as to answer briefly.

Is it an over stimulated brain? A brain that has too much action ( too many chemical reactions and neurological responses)

Or an under stimulated brain? A brain that has too little chemical reaction and not enough electrical activity at the time of the event.

Or maybe something else... feel free to pitch in another trigger for your epileptic events.
