Michelle,

Happy to hear that you are feeling better.

I also was treated for panic attacks for several years, even after I had a grand-mal and then another a year later was diagnosed with epilepsy, however still was treated for panic attacks for a few years after that, when what I was having were partial and complex partial seizures. After about the 3rd or 4th neurologist I saw finally was told that these were not panic attacks they were seizures.

It is very hard to explain alot of the feelings you get while having these, I know before my surgery (a good bit of my left temporal lope removed) I would get a very paranoid feeling that would stay with me the whole day, when someone was talking while I was having one I was hearing something totally different than what they were saying, then couldn't remember what they were saying or what I heard. I just know that what I heard scared the H out of me. I also could not talk right I was told what I did say made no sense at all. I also experience alot of dejuvu. There are many other feelings I experienced.

Now since my surgery they are different, I now get a awful taste in my mouth, and my left arm and hand shake really bad, I can't talk at all for about a minute or two, sometimes I get really nauses, and others times throw up also. I still get that paranoid feeling and some other as before I still also just get those odd not right feelings that are very strange and almost impossible to discribe.

You are definetly not a whiner, it helps so much to be able to talk, relate, and just vent our feelings on this site. I would be lost without it.

Tammy

Hi Tammy,

We really do understand don't we? After a while..I feel like all the yrs. I went being told anxiety/panic, when in fact it was seizures .. now I really have anxiety!! I second guess things that are health related and worry about my health. I just went so long from Dr. to Dr. and nobody listened or said I was crazy and I knew I wasn't.I am actually feeling bad again today! ((Sigh)) My head is killing me too. I had a bad night last night. I had to increase the lamictal and not sure if it was from that or what. Oh, aren't we a pair??! HA! We'll get through it, right? I will say some prayers you really feel better soon!!
Please email me anytime.I do understand..maybe not all of your physical things..but the thought process/anxiety yes! I have alot of other health things..chronic pain and family autoimmune stuff. On a good note.... Aren't you SOOOO glad the Hyst. is over with? It is great to not have to deal with that problem at least, right? Now my poor 13 yr. old has had really bad bleeding problems over the last yr. poor baby! We tried meds and now we have had to try depo vera shots which is helping. Hopefully that will regulate it.

Talk soon!!! Feel better!!!
Michelle : )))))))))

Michelle,

I am sorry to hear that you are also suffering from a darn headache, headaches are really high on my list of pain that I just cannot handle very well.

I also now know what a panic attack is I did have a very bad one a couple of times before my surgery and I could then tell the difference. Then after my surgery, I started having them really bad for awhile. I just felt like ok since the surgery has stopped the seizures for now, something has to take their place.

We will get through it, after so many years of fighting it and other illnesses, I still am doing my best not to let my illnesses take control of me.
I am feeling much better from my hysterectomy, I can surely tell that my bladder has been put back where it belongs. Now if everything else will stop attacking me, I will be even happier.

I am sorry to hear about your daughter's suffering from the heavy bleeding, I kinda know a little about that, only I experienced it when going through menopause.

I hope your headache lets up ASAP and my thoughts and prayers are out to you and your daughter.

And yes talk soon.
Tammy

And yes I definetly feel that we understand. When I first started getting partial and complex partials I thought myself that I was going crazy, I didn't even tell anybody for awhile, because I thought they would think I was kuku.
