Ggrrrrr!!!

I was at my inlaws and had a few auras so I sat down on a backless stool. A few minuteslater iI literally dropped. It it so frusterating to have them bust in when I'm not at home. I usually have seizures at night. I've gotten to the point that I can handle that as long as they don't interfer with my day.I haven't been great about eating my sodium the past few days and that's why I think I'm having problems. I'm going to try and get my Dr. to give me more sodium tablets. WE WILL SEE!

Awwww

I'm sorry to hear about the problems, Melpier. Until you are able to get hold of your doc, why don't you look up what foods are higher in sodium, and eat some of those (not a whole lot, mind you, but SOME), and hopefully that will help you until you can get things worked out.....

Good luck!

Meetz

actually my husband went through our cabnets and foun that top romen is high in sodium so guess what I had for dinner last night . I also ate 4- 470mg servings of pepperoni and drank tons of gatorade. I also took an extra sodium tablet last night, but I didn't have any issues! I wish I didn't have to do so much.

It also has MSG in it, in addition to the total lack of nutrition those products have.
Why not just use sea salt and salt your whole foods more?

However, you don't want to use your current table salt. Instead, obtain "real salt." The difference between conventional and "real salt" is that conventional salt is dried at over 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. This amount of heat changes the chemical structure of the salt. Also, conventional processing adds harmful additives and chemicals. When you do obtain "real salt," you can use it liberally on your greens, such as kale, to decrease any bitter taste.
You also might want to find out why your body is experiencing the need for more salt than the norm.

People with weak adrenals lose sodium and need to eat more natural salt. This is easily observed on a hair mineral analysis that is not washed at the laboratory. The sodium and chloride levels on a serum test are not a reliable indicator, in my experience, because the body keeps them fairly even no matter what.

Sorry to hear about the seizure. I have to agree...I hate having seizures when I'm not at home. At least at home, I can go and rest immediately after. When I'm out and about it's a matter of waiting for hubby and dealing with other people's reactions until I can get home....then I can finally rest.
