Good for you Kate! I can relate on some levels- my mom is the thorn on my rose. The funny thing is she thinks my husband is controlling! Ha! I've been married thirty years this June and he has been a pain in the ass some days and my hero and best friend all the rest.I told him when we got married that he would never be bored- of course the E thing about 19 years in was a little over the top but hey...Find someone that you feel relaxed with and silly with and forget what 'daddy' says- he doesn't have to live with 'em, you do so choose wisely and find that soul mate when you are ready!![]() |

| Hey Kate! ![]() You did a the right thing. Just because a man gives you a ring doesnt mean he can treat you differently. By all of the problems or exs you have you will learn from them. I sure did. You become a stronger and more independant person. I have been through the same thing with ex boyfriends. You will now when it is the right one. Like the always say. Dont rush yourself.. Enjoy life! Family and your friends. Here is a quote I like! "Never settle for less than what you deserve. Find the one who makes you happy and never let go" |

| You know what I was thinking? That if I would of walked away from my wedding, like I knew I was supposed to, I wouldn't of ended up in an abusive marriage. POWER!!!!!!! |
