Unhappy This an "I don't feel well unload"....

Hi everybody,

I am just not feeling well at all the last day or so. I cannot breathe!! I had that upper resp. cough/cold etc. and still have the cough. Well..I have what feels like inflammation/pain in my chest and I can't draw good breaths in. I think it is the end of the bug I had about 10 days ago. About every 10-12 breaths actually feel like the air goes down. I just did a neb treatment (with albuterol) to try to help, had hot tea with honey, mucinex and I'm calling for a Dr. appt. in the a.m. It is making me extremely nervous. And then the gasping feeling gets worse. I am just trying to relax.
Please say a prayer/good thoughts that I can breathe better and easier and sleep peacefully tonight. I could use some right now. Thanks guys!! It really makes me feel so bad for people with chronic breathing trouble. We all have asthma in our family. My husband and I rarely get it except if we we are sick..the kids also, but they get it a bit more frequently than we do. Our son went for years getting Pneumonia. More that 10-12 times. He was very sickly. He had a low immune system. He was premature and it started when he was really little..until the 1st week of High School and he missed the first whole week. You would never know this now. He is a healthy, strong senior in H.S. He seemed to get stronger and over the pneumonias. It is actually a fallacy that you outgow asthma..you just are not having flareups as often.
Anyways...thanks for letting me unload. It helps me to not concentrate on the lack of breathing. Hope everyone else is doing well.
Michelle

Down with the flu myself Michelle.
I have been using Olive Leaf Extract and water with lemon. The aches are what gets to me.
Take care, and try to relax.

I'll be praying for you Michelle. Back in April, I had a cough that lasted for more than 2 weeks. Now, I'm battling another cold while trying to quit smoking...not a good combo. :P But you should see the phlegm I'm coughing up!

Thanks Everyone. I feel like a whiner..but the trouble breathing was making me nervous to say the least. So it helped for me to unload my worries.
Robin and David, I hope you feel better too. There is alot going around already. I think mine may be from the bug I had already a few weeks ago. ??
Who knows. Hope you both rest up and feel much better!!
I am going to try to get into my Dr. today..just to make sure it isn't Pneumonia or my heart.
Thanks again y'all!!

Michelle

Thanks Nancy! I have a 1:30 Dr. appt. so I am glad I got in. I am sure it'll pass..it just helped to unload last night. I slept pretty well..until around 6:30 this morning and then I noticed it all again. Other than that I'm good! Hope you are well too!

Thanks Josie,

I did go to the Dr. and left with some scripts. I had a bit of a fever and a little trouble moving air in my lungs. At the moment, it is a little better..but it comes and goes..last night was just really bad! So now I am home to rest.

Thanks again,
Michelle

Chelle, I am glad that you are feeling better. My son got sick so, so did I. I got better. My 10 year old got the ear infections antibiotics and now albuterol for his lungs. Happens every time.I should have started it earlier.
