Nenne,
My hubby wouldn't want to hear you say that his iPhone is pretty, but it is very practical. He checks his email and even surfs a bit on it while he's out on the road.
Love my mac. Love my camera. Love my printer that connects the two.

Sounds like fun! I always loved art, but haven't use it too heavily on my PC yet. We have the Coreldraw, Photoshop and Bryce. We also have Maya and Poser. I haven't use a lot of that stuff. I've been heavily into the traditional sketching and painting.

I just went to an amazing art festival this weekend and was really inspired by all the artwork there. I'll have to venture into the graphics on my PC one of these days.
I would like to do more web technology, so I may be looking at integrating artwork into it at some point.

I know its stupid but it is! im not even sure why i want to have it! talk about being effected by commercials I wont get it, to much money for something that i just think is pretty

But thats actually how i got the Ipod i had no idea what it was but i just fell in love with it when i saw it in the commercial, but i did check it up and decided that i wanted one and so far it has been the best music-player i ever had. And sense i use it also when it come to my EP, (so i can walk in town without having to sleep 3 hours after) When there is alot of people around i have tendency to not being able to "shut of" so if i have music on it helps me
But my dad was pretty hard to convince But now he has one also haha

Alivenwell,
I love working in photoshop, The BF just got himself a new camera all the way from New York, and im very jealous i only have an old analog camera from the 70 But i do love my camera is just so more convenient to be able to just connect the camera to the Mac instead of scanning and all that!

So we are fighting about who should take piccys at the moment!

I don't think it is stupid. I would like one too. My son has one, and the seamless integration with the computer is awesome. I want to input the information one place, and connect it all. What is holding me back, is the fact that I would have to change phone service. His doesn't get great service here at our house. That isn't acceptable to me, when I need my phone for emergency reasons.

They are handsome though.

Don't get me started on the genius of the ipod. I had the very first Sony Walkman that was made. You can't even compare. Just makes me wonder what is next.

I know somebody who's an artist and she swears there are never too many megapixels on a digital camera. Just a thought before you buy one....

It has something to do with the ability to enlarge photos and still retain a good resolution or clarity. My camera has a little 1x1" chip that holds an incredible amount of photos. Our printer (Hewlett Packard) can actually display each photo rather than have me burn up camera batteries. It saves a lot of money and time.

My digital takes up to 8 AA batteries which don't last really long. The newer digitals have a longer battery life with the nickel cadmium batteries. My husband got a better camera and hardly uses it. I think I'll swap with him!

It sounds like a digital camera is cheaper! My cell phone is much cheaper and has a basic camera built into it. I use it for a lot of alarms and texting.

Yeah! Go for the good camera. It comes with software that can be installed on your PC. Then go for the printer with the great printing qualities so you can print your stuff.

If you don't have that printer yet, you can work on refining the pictures with Coreldraw or Photoshop until you get that one next.

Anyway, those digital cameras let you delete the 'bad' shots and keep the good ones.
They are SO convenient during vacations. And, to be honest (don't laugh!), I use one of those little camera pouches that attach to your waist as a pill holder because they have good insulation during extreme hot or extreme cold weather.

So there! You have 2 uses for the camera pouch...
2 for the price of one!

And, of course, your parents may start battling about who gets the good photos. That justifies a printer. Then they can EACH get printouts.

I think I'm a bad influence here. But, this is a good outlet.

Problem is a digital camera can't hook you up to the web, or store your calendar, and address book, or give you directions, etc...

Seems like we have gotten off topic Neene, but if you are giggling then I guess it has helped.
