I went to UAB yesterday

I was given a prescription for Vimpat and medicaid wants to know why I need it DUH! So until we get everything worked out with medicaid I stay on Diamox.

I don't get how someone sitting behind a desk, who doesn't even understand the disorder, or medical needs of a patient, can make these kinds of decisions.

Keep fighting. Don't take NO for an answer.
