It's too late, Baby----

Somewhere, I am almost certain it was in this forum, but it could have been in another site about epilepsy, I read that cookware made of aluminum had something to do with "getting" epilepsy. Having no idea whatsoever about the pots and pans my mother had been using since the 1950's (!!) and what they were made of, I learned to cook using these same items because they were so easy to use and why would I want to start all over after 1995 when my mother passed away?
Maybe because Magnalite cookware is made of cast aluminum? AAAAAAARGGGGHHH!! And how did I find out today after all these years? I went to Target to purchase a glass Pyrex bakeware item so that I can bake chicken. I call the 1-800 # of Pyrex to make sure I know what I am doing with this because I have never used Pyrex glass bakeware and find it is quite easy and that the same company also markets Magnalite cookware. I go to their website, look up the Magnalite and there it is:
"Magnalite, originally introduced in 1934.....is made of cast aluminum......"
"It's too late baby...."
I'm 58, I am perfectly able to learn new things, but I have no job and no income with which to purchase everything new for my kitchen. For now, I will just have to be happy with my Depakote, Magnalite and my one glass Pyrex dish!

Renee, I'm very much like you in the research department which "is" a good thing. But when I read that reading can cause seizures I lost it. I've been an avid reader all my life and am not about to give that up!
