Kind of funny, but annoying

I was driving along about 3 years ago, and suddenly started feeling lightheaded, as I do when I start to have a seizure. Well, I pulled into a store parking lot figuring if I stayed in the truck, it would stop, and I'd be lucky (a.k.a. not carted off to the E.R.). Apparently I must have tried to get out and fell on the ground...although that I don't recall. I wasn't hurt, just the arm of my coat a little scuffed up -so I figured I did wind up blacking out. I felt perfect right away afterwards (unlike usually, which is why at first I figured I didn't go out all the way). I was walking across the parking lot to the store (where I wanted to go anyway), when I heard someone behind me say "He's over there.". My first thought was GRRR! Oh shhhhhhugar! I almost made it. Next a local cop and paramedic were standing next to me. Everyone knows what happened next!
The cute part starts after about an hour after leaving the E.R....I, of course, couldn't drive (even if I could, my vehicle was about 12 miles away!), so I started walking towards my Aunt and Uncle who live about 2 miles away.
Well, I got about halfway there, whensuddenly I had another one -in the middle of the bridge I was walking over (on the sidewalk of course). I always remember starting to fall, but never remember hitting the ground when I have 1. This time I wasn't out for very long I'm guessing because I remember talking to the paramedics. Well, after I got to the E.R., THE SAME NURSES came back in! They kind of giggled and asked "Weren't you just here?"! I was seriously thinking of saying something funny like; "No, that was my twin brother."! We were all giggling at the whole situation!

It is really amazing that you maintained a sense of humor with the nurse. That is something I could have never been able to do. Congrats on the extreme positive attitude!

Between this and your strange occurance story, it seems like you might want to re-evaluate this driving around decision.

Sorry to hear about your seizures. Did the ER docs give you any indication of something that might have been the root cause for the seizures? Did they test your blood syrum (medication level[s]), blood sugar, blood pressure, etc.?

I hear enough about driving from outsiders...please! The ones I have are so infrequent, and have plenty of warning time attatched, 5 physicians (3 at the medical review board for licensing, my primary, and my neurologist) have all said driving is fine! As for what the cause is...I had menningitis when I was 2 weeks old. The trigger? Good question! I've been asking myself that for 37 years!
