Wow...95 already, huh? Hope you continue to feel better! Thinking of both of you! We can all make it through these rough days if we just keep reminding each other that there are people out there counting on us.

Hawke...I am now one of those people counting on you I seem to come here looking forward to hear how your day is going... I am always hoping to hear that things are going great for you

I hope today is a little better than yesterday and I hope yesterday was a little better than the day before! Today is going pretty well for me.

I get to have another chance at the cleaning job and everyone knows what to expect this time...so I think that will make things so much easier on me!

Well...I hope you, Still Dancing and you, Hawke both have a very wonderful day....I hope everyone else also has a wonderful day too!

Thank you for all of the support!

Hi Natalie, thank you and I am doing good. 75 degrees today. That is perfect for me. I think I will walk up and get myself a coffee. Iced of course. Yesterday it was a vitamin drink with green tea. Yum. Thank you again for your vote of confidence.

Natalie,

Hope you are able to get the cleaning job done this time. I know it can be so frustrating when you want to do something..and just can't because you feel so bad or have seizures. I feel that way for a day or 2 after mine. Very bad post ictal weakness and fatigue. I always try to remind myself it won't last forever and another new day will come and I'll feel better. It really helps to try to stay positive. I think it just overall makes you feel better and have a happier outlook. It can be really tough at times, and it really drags you down ...but it is then that we need to muster up the strength and be positive. I know this firsthand! I've been there myself. You are so right with your views on things! : ) We can all help one another. It is wonderful to know that. Hawke, hope you are having a good weekend too. Do you have a family? Or are you younger..just wondering. I just got home from running around with my crew. My husband had off today and the kids had some school projects and needed stuff and then we went to the store. Now my husband is practicing parallel parking with our son for his exam. I avoid it at all costs. Ha!
The parking bit...not taking my son to practice! Anyways...hope ya'll have a good one!

Michelle : )

Hey everyone,

Well...ok...I didn't get the cleaning done yesterday, but I didn't lose the job either LOL! The job is cleaning the office where my husband works and he has decided that he wants me to do my best and clean everything that I possibly can and then he will help me clean what I can't get done on my own. I need the job just to help get me out of the house and out of bed...and to build my confidence again . We will tell my boss (as he already knows my situation of course!). My husband is amazing and offers me so much support!

Yesterday was really rough because I was really let down, but now I am feeling better! My goal is to be able to do this without my husband having to pick up the pieces, but knowing that he is there if I need him really helps!

It helps knowing that you all are here for me, too! Thank you sooo much!!!

Michelle...I can't drive now, but when I could...I avoided parallel parking as well. In fact, the day I took my driving test, I just skipped the part and told the person to dock me the points...hahaha...I passed barely...hahahaha! My husband and I always joke that the streets are now much safer due to me being off of them...LOL! (and that has nothing to due with my epilepsy...).

As far as the temperature here Hawke and Stilldancing...it is 91 degrees...I knew it was going to get hot here pretty quick! Whatever happened to Spring???

I hope everyone is having a good day today! This week is starting off really well and I hope it is starting off well for all of you! I am here for you all if you need me...!!! Thanks for being here for me this weekend...you really helped me get through

Natalie

Glad you are having a good week Natalie! Mine has started out nice too. It is getting warm here in Atlanta..but really pretty. It hasn't gotten too hot yet.they sometimes call it Hotlanta in the summer. (But we do have 4 nice seasons and actually get snow here also.) I actually sat out for a little bit. I need to get a bunch of things for my garden. I am actually late at starting. I want to put in tomatoes and peppers and basil and my daughter wants to try strawberries again. My husband just put in a nice garden area for me in our back yard.

Talk soon!

We'll see Hawke..hopefully I can grow something. I usually do tomatoes, but it's been a while on anything else. I am not as good as Buckeye that grown the gigantic tomatoes!! That's for sure! Have you ever tried to have a garden? It's kind of fun and therapeutic. It is a good feeling when you have stuff you grew yourself. Plus, I think alot fresher..unlike some of the fruits/veggies at the store. I like farmers Markets/farmstand stuff. It's usually so good.We have good peaches here in Ga. also.

Hawke,

Actually, tomatoes work great in a big pot also. Or herbs like basil is easy in a pot.

I have lost interest in the hobbies I use to have. I use to landscape work and lost interest in it. I don't have any hobbies anymore. I use to have a lot of hobbies. I guess as you get older you start to lose interest in things that use to be fun. I guess that's life.

Your too young to lose interest Hawke.
Maybe you just need to experiment with new ones.

Here's a virtual garden for you:

Hawke,

Maybe you'll find a new hobby someday when you least expect it. I enjoy the small things in life anymore...reading a good book, sitting out watching the birds, cooking, a favorite tv show,Going to the library. I enjoy helping other people(I know that sounds cheezy)But it makes me feel good to help others. So, ya never know..maybe something will catch you or inspire you.Maybe meet some new friends. Well, you've already met all of us too! : ) anyways..it's never too late to pick up a new hobby. Like Robin said about her learning the oil painting I believe it was. She really enjoys that.

Michelle

I'm to old for hobbies anymore. I don't have the time for them anyone. I spend too much with life itself. I'm most of you I'm fighting seizures and other things. Some people say living with seizures.
