Yes, I WAS

on it. But it didn't do anything for me at all, so I had to stop it.....which bummed me out, because I was sooooo looking forward to having something to stop the migraines at the time......

I was on it for a while and it worked fine, however it began to lose effectiveness and I was switched to Imitrex.

Then I found the miracle mineral magnesium. Occasionally I take an Excedrin Migraine but I would say only about 3 this total year. If I am good about taking magnesium then I don't have any headache at all. I just have to be careful with wine.

Maxalt,
I'm on it and I can only take once a week. nothing works for my migraines the maxalt doesn't anymore.
I've taken so many different things nothing works for me.

I've been on all the triptans -- Imitrex was the first and it was no help at all. Maxalt was next and it was "some" help so I loved it .....
I take Relpax now and it's the best one for me. My dear, sweet, kind, lovable, WONDERFUL neurologist now prescribes 12 tablets per month. I didn't know that was even possible (!) especially since they cost exactly the same as the usual 6.

All depends on what insurance you have for medical & what your neroligist is like (good or nasty) . But other than that sounds like you're in good shape. Dave

Dave - isn't is sad that everything - absolutely everything - depends on our insurance?
When I depended on Blue Cross and then --- er, ah, --- I forgot -- that 3 initial stuff -- I was eligible for 6 triptan per month.
Now that I depend on the military retirement insurance I am eligible for 12 tablets. In 11 months I'll be depending on Medicare. I don't know what that will allow me. Maybe I should start trying to stockpile stuff???
