My hubby gave me the best compliment while lecturing our daughter the other day. He said, "You're going to be a woman soon and you have two choices about what kind of woman you want to be. You can be the kind that throws their hands up in the air and gets hysterical everytime something bad happens. OR you can be the type who sees a problem, stops and gives it some thought, then does their best to solve the problem...like your mother. Now, isn't she the type of woman you want to be?"

He wasn't talking to me but it's been nearly two weeks since that conversation and I'm still smiling over it.

CJR -

It sounds like you are a very strong woman. What a wonderful role model for your daughter. I went to your blog and your daughter is a very pretty girl. What a beautiful smile she has,

I was thinking the same thing about you. Your outlook after such a long and tragic history with Epilepsy is amazing and so inspiring. Ofcourse, around here amazing people are easy to find. That's why I love this site so much.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I don't spend as much time there as I'd like but time is a fleeting thing...

I've said it before ...

... and I will keep saying it. You caregivers simply amaze me. I came here to help myself and found out that sometimes I can help others as well. But, I still came here for me. You sought out this site out of love for someone else and that is special.

Thank you for your kind words. You made me cry also, not a bad thing. My strength comes from God, he has given me this mission to help others. I have gotten so much support, love, understanding and help from this forum.

When we were going to a grief group, we always ended our night by standing in a circle holding hands. The person starting would look at the person on their left and say, "I put my hand in your hand so you know you are not alone." It continued around the circle until it got back to the first person.

So, I would like to stand next to anyone of you and say, "I put my hand in your hand so you know that you are not alone." What a huge circle we have holding hands.
