So today I brought some Thyme (pronounced "time") home from school, because we were growing it out in the greenhouse and had extra. So when I got home I was like LOOK! I have Thyme! and I was making alot of time jokes with thyme. ANd my mom said "OH! I hear thyme is good as an herbal remedy" but she couldn't figure out what so I googled it and guess what it said.... Thyme is used to help people with epilepsy. I just thought this was interesting... that time will make epilepsy better. If only a little.

I've seen a number of listings in google that say that thyme shouldn't be taken by people with heart problems nor by those who suffer with seizure disorders. So proceed with caution...

You might be interested in the charts at the link below. It details the herbs to stay away from, including herbs which interact negatively with anti-seizure medicines.
