 Me, to a lady- "Hey! (*small back-and-forth casual conversation*) Well I'll see you in a month or so!"  Roommate- "Who was that?" Me- "Oh that's Sue. She's one of the EEG techs at the hospital. She "calls dibs" on me whenever I go in for tests. I'm totally her favourite. Oh, also, her husband is my new neurologist I was telling you about haha." Roommate- "Whoa." -------------- Ex-roommate (with friend in tow)- "Ohhh, tell me how's your epilepsy? Did they figure stuff out yet?" Me- "Well, I had a 40 second Absence the other day, followed by two tonic clonic seizures so pretty much swallowed the whole day. Pre-ictally I was pretty okay but my postictal period was craaazy. You totally would have laughed. Then yesterday I had a partial where I put my fist through a pane of glass so my neurologist and I decided to up my Leviteracetam by 500mg and my Lamotrigine by 300mg. I'm intractable so we're just working stuff out. You know how it is." Ex-roommate- "The disturbing part, well parts, of that was that 1) you're still having those really long mega-serious seizures, and 2) that, beside the actual drug names, I understood exactly what you were saying." Ex-roommate's friend's face- 0.o

| So my new boyfriend said to me today "No seizures are good seizures" with a straight face. I almost fell out of my chair laughing.  |

| You spelt epilepsy wrong! ugh! It's e-p-i, uh, e--p-i-l- ummm,? hold on I forget... but there is a y in it and you do not have a y.... I have this conversation with people so many times. I can only spell epilepsy when writing it but not out loud. and it's very annoying. I get epsiliy epillsie epillisy it's an 8 letter word. it can't be that hard... |

| while looking in the oven. "where are all the dish towels??!!" i was so mad they moved them! talking to neurologist very serious-like. "Oh I am cured now, we really don't need to do this anymore" his face was priceless. my husband's not so much. |

| LOL!!! Its nice to know im not the only one Seize and CQ!!! After eighteen years i thought i would have sussed it out by now,but hell no!!! Same old confusion,maybe ONE day,maybe ONE day we will figure it out,eh? What time was my doctors appointment? Two minutes after coming off the phone. |
