Angioscopy

Hi,

I have recently had a couple of MRI scans to try and establish where my seizures are starting from (had seizures on and off for 4 years). The first scan showed nothing abnormal and I then had a second with a dye injected and it showed up a blood vessel that may be causing my seizures.

I am now going to have a Angioscopy to establish whether to stay on my present medication (Tegretol Retard) or will surgery be of benefit to me. I have only been on the tegretol for 4 weeks and have had no seizures since coming off keppra. Keppra really messed me up and it was a pretty depressing 9 months of the doctors just telling me to up the dose if I have more seizures. Looking back now, I have no dout that the keppra was causing the seizures.

My question is, has anyone else had an Angioscopy from the groin to the brain, and if so can you please give me some info.on it, as there is a lack of info. online.

Thanks
