pseudoseizures and week legs -- frustrated

previous posted my daughter story "head pressure with pseudoseizures" she is very frustrated and does seem to understand that is these episodes are not true seizures how can it affect her legs and ability to stand and walk.

Anyone have this problem? she is in phyiscal therapy and started with a therapist..

she is very frustrated especially if this is not brain connected why is she having such problems with physical side of this?

Has her doc ruled out other potential causes for the weakness in your daughter's legs? Many things can cause such a weakness -- various neurological diseases, damage to the lumbar spine, even an electrolyte disorder. I would ask her doctor to explain if the link is truly related to the psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, and if so how. If there isn't a link then there needs to be more investigation to isolate a cause.
