    Seizure Background
Started around 11 yrs of age and has changed ever since. Have taken Tegretol, Dilantin (100mg & 20mg), Keppra and soon will be on Levetiracetam replacing the Keppra. I drive about 5% of the time within a years time. I chose to stop driving on my own, not ordered by my neurologist, but after I totaled my car. Fortunately, it was only my car in the accident and an electrical pole. I work 40 hours per week in retail and they take care of me when I have an episode on the job. I now have an excellent, experienced neurologist, (Dr. Anthony Murro) who I love for his compassion and concern for his patients well-being. Along with my meds, I have a Vagus Nerve Stimulator implanted August 2008. Life has been better since the implant.
