Seizure Background

I used to have complex partial seizures that generalized into grand mal (tonic clonic) seizures. According to my neurologist, they caused the extensive memory loss (of the first 47 years of my life.) They have been controlled (by Lamictal) for 11 years, and I seem to have a normal memory of that last 11 years.
