What type of epilepsy do you have Addie? I've just been to see my neurologist surgeon today, he wants me to see my neurologist Phycologist, to discuss more surgery as they see me as a difficult case. I know I've said no already to surgery but i'm going to see him just to reassure myself if i will have any short term memory left to live with, if you understand what i mean!!!!! I fully understand how you feel about family, but they don't realise what it actually is, i wouldn't like any of my family to go through what i do and many others, i do get frustrated, you take care and email anytime xx

Hi Addie, i found out i had epilepsy in 2005 caused by a brain tumour. They think i had this brain tumour while in my mothers womb..how they know that god knows. i've had brain surgery, but they can't take all the tumour away as its too near my brain stem. My epilepsy is drug resistant, i'm on a fair wack of meds, my seizures are Complex Partial and now i have night time seizures 'Tonic Clonic' the only time i know when i've had one of the Tonic Clonic is when i'm in pain when i wake up in the morning, it hurts when i breath. Your right about family, thinking they understand but i don't think they do at all. They have asked me to have more brain surgery but if i do they will take my short term memory away from me, never get that back....so i've refused, i'll live as i am.
