    Seizure Background
I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half, and for the entire duration of our relationship (and still to this day), I have watched his partial-complex seizures change since I began dating him. At first, he would just stare into space and he would be able to tell me "I feel lost" or something to that effect. He would not make any sounds and he could not respond to anyone, but he would recover quickly from it. When he has these seizures now, he makes strange noises, smacks his lips, and just recently he began feeling so nauseous that he has thrown up. He also is unresponsive and seems very out-of-it for at least a minute after the seizure is over. He also cannot remember anything that happened during the time of his seizure. Until last October, he had never had a grand-mal seizure (that I have seen/known about). Since then, he has had one more grand-mal seizure, but that was (presumably) because he did not take his medication for 2 days. He is on Dilantin and Keppra. He has not been diagnosed with epilepsy because the EEGs and other tests have not shown anything.
