    Seizure Background
I had a sudden attack a few years ago of a burning pain shot up into my head, the right side of my face went numb, and then my arm and leg. I have had these types of attacks ever since. All of my life I have had moments of blacking out, sharp disturbing skaing at night, enough to wake up my husband, talk in my sleep very loudly and felt pain during dream sleep, but remember it all. What could the problem be? I have looked up partial seizures and it seems to match up to a lot of the syptoms, but not sure. Been seeing a neruologist done all kinds of tests, but nothing yet, although he has tried a couple of anticonvulsants with some success, just not quite enough. And, it can be painful and take days or weeks to recover based on the severity of the incident.
