Hey all I've been wandering the internet looking for a place for a long time. I had a seizure in Febuary ended up going on keppra. Ever since I was 2 they couldn't determine what was wrong with me and I wandered the world of disabilities lost and confused but I tried to help everyone I met by making them laugh and telling them that just because they had problems it was no cause for despair. Thank you for reminding me of that again reminding me who I was meant to be all my life.

The only reason I got this ear infection is caused of I used to have holes in my ears and I only get one every 5 to 10 yrs. The other problem is caused of my brain being smaller on one side. Here in west texas we always have dramatic change in weather which can cause most problems each night. I just thought I'd give you some input that I know now!
    Thank you for helping

How are you doing today I read your reply. You see that is what my granny would "GOD DON'T CREATE NO JUNK" And you know how I know that is because I feel a little better today! GOD BLESS HER! When Iwas a little kid everyday after school I'd walk to her house and we'd have so much fun! You know I don't think she had one bad bone in her, she just loved everyone! I wanted to tell you the 18 days Iwas in the hospital ran every test they could and found out I was low on potassium.[b]ut every else was normal except may be the zonegran so he gradually tookme off of zonegran and has gradually put me on topomax since I had migraines everyday and it is starting work. It's just I live in atown where the local nueros' are scared of so I fly to Dallas,TX for last ten years. And when I was achid I went to San Antonio to be diagnosed with epilesy.
This is all I can write right now because I'm tired and hurting.

Hi David! I honestly find this forum so incredibly supportive and informative. I learned about it at a presentation by the Epilepsy Foundation of America. I noticed this was a link off that site and decided to join last year.

Little kids with epilepsy have a totally different perspective than some adults. Liability was not a concept in my mind as I climbed monkey bars at school when nobody was watching! I did learn how to be a really fast runner! And, I still lead a pretty active lifestyle after not driving for so many years.

I find it ironic that people are now being encouraged to walk or exercise. My employer gives incentives for us to walk 10,000 steps a day. I've been doing that one for years.
They featured me and my active dog on their website. My dog is listed in my photo album. She's 99% border collie and 1% something else like springer spaniel (who knows?). And, she gives me a rather intense stare for our nightly exercise.

We're experiencing an incredible heat wave right now, so I turned on our air conditioner and we'll be playing alpine fetch up and down the steps. It's a great workout!
