- Seizure Background
- I was first diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 15 after complaining to my parents for over a year that something was definately not right with me. I am 23 now. I do not have grand mal seizures, instead I stay conciouss and experience a physcodellic effect with my vision, as well as extreme weakness and some dizzyness. After I get a seizure I tend to get pretty tired and sleep for a while. Usually I only get seizures during a workout or physcial activity . Thats about it as far as the epilepsy history goes, basically im here to learn a little more about epilepsy because my doctors never really explained much about it to me they just told me that I have it and to take meds (which i stopped taking due to allergic reaction.)
