- Seizure Background
- I had 4 seizures when I was 15. I was diagnosed with viral encephalitis, was treated for that. Took Tegretol for 6 months and didn't have a problem until exactly 15 years later. I got the flu, took a nap and woke up having a seizure. Had one more and am now struggling with the side effects of seizure medications.
