- Seizure Background
- Everything started after I hit I got two concussions within two weeks of each other. Within 2 weeks of the second head injury, I had my first grand mal seizure. I went to many neuros, none really knowing exactly what was wrong with me. The tests were all inconclusive with only slight abnormalities. The neuros all thought I was making it up and two docs even wanted to send me to a psych hospital. I was having about 10 complex partial seizures a day at one point and wasnt even able to go to school yet no doctor wanted to help me. Finally a doctor told me that the tests dont always show things and that I was clearly an epileptic and that the focus of my seizures were deep in my brain. Now we have found out that I have brain damage from some of the longer seizures I had and because of it I have problems with side effects of meds,I have heart problems because of brain damage,memory loss, and coordination problems.
