- Seizure Background
- I've had Epilepsy since the age of two when I was diagnosed.My seizures were because I was delivered by forceps.I went through school with seizures. I had brain surgery in 1981 it decreased my seizures but as I got older my seizures got worse.I was at NIH for 6 months in my senior year of High school.
I've also had 3 different VNS surgeries and when my battery went dead last time my VNS doc said there was reason to get another one.
I got a pacemaker in June of 2010 and it has been good at almost controlling my seizures.
I went 2 1/2 months seizure free at one time.
I use to be refractory I use to also be known on this board as Belinda5000, I wasn't able to get back on so I had to re register.

- Topamax 200MG a dAY. Diamox 125MG x2,Clonazepam1/2MG x3 and tegretol 400,300and400.
