And here I finally am trying to write more later in between trying to do one and two thirds gazillion things! When I get to three gazillion things, I will stop counting: composing music,**, looking for employment and all that goes with that including, but not limited to working with the MN State Vocational Services Program on a one month Work Evaluation "test" to see if I am physically and mentally ready to go back to work, going online in every nook and cranny looking for work that is both financially rewarding and a positive work environment, catching up with my attorney who is working with me to see if I can't get on disability (he called last Friday to tell me he is going to see about advancing or moving up the date for a hearing on the two denials for disability I have had, trying to keep my house safe and clean (from the usual predators), trying to keep my sanity by not spending too much time looking for a job or too much time away from looking for work or too much time composing music (the least profitable enterprise but the most sanity saving), practicing the piano when I can find the time, going for walks and doing some exercise, trying to figure out if I am going to have enough money to survive on over the short and long term and if I am going to have to declare bankruptcy or foreclose on this condo, take a Thursday (or 2 or 3) off per month to have fun with my boy friend and maybe get out and photograph a few things----------you get the picture, yes?
**Currently I am working on a set of songs. These are setting of poems by a local poet who is quite good and teaches writing and writing poetry. I told her (even before she asked) that one of my goals is to set each poem in a different style of music. Even though all my training is in classical music, I want one song to be in a blues style, one in a jazz style, two will be in different types of classical music, etc. When this set of songs is finished I have a commission to compose a work for church choir and after that I have other works waiting for my attention.
In other words if you don't hear from me often, you will know why.

Thanks for the request, BirdBomb. I appreciate it. I haven't been around much lately, due to the fact my mom was due to arrive in town this past week, and now she's here.......and driving me BATTY. She's worse than the Energizer Bunny on ACID! OY. She does NOT stop moving! She leaves with my boys in tow on Tuesday......WHEW!!!
