- Seizure Background
- I have had Epilepsy since birth. I was on meds till 1987, I came off of the meds since I wasn't having any problems till 2003. I was in a bad car accident and started having seizures again when I was ordered to be seen by a Neurologist after my CT came back abnormal, which it was just white matter "nothing to worry about". So my Neurologist went in to my family history and he said everything was okay their, so I decided to go ahead and tell him about my seizure disorder I previously had, and I told him it's really nothing since I wasn't having any problems so, he ordered a EEG just to be on the safe side. Had the EEG, and he said I had to start treatment ASAP due to the seizure activity. so I did, Lamictal 25 mgs - 300 mgs till I became Pregnant in 2007, 2008 Than he put me on Depakote ER which my hair was falling out, Dude I have baby fine hair as it is I don't need to lose anymore so, today he started me on Lamictal XR. Don't know how much that is going to cost me but we shall see. Also, I have these strange dreams all the time it's almost as if it's real...theres times I dream then when I am out in about, I see my dream happening in real time, strange , I know.
