- Seizure Background
- I have had Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy since age 14. I have been on meds ever since. I had 3 tonic clonic seizures between the ages of 14-17. They were all triggered by sleep deprivation. I have not had a seizure in 22 years. However, I do still have myoclonic jerks several mornings a week.
