Thanks for adding me as a friend. At the start of this year I would never have guessed that Epilepsy would be such a major part of our lives just a few months later. But because of Epilepsy I've gotten to know some really great people and for that I'm truly grateful. You've been a tremendous support and a wonderful inspiration. Thanks for your friendship.

About Me

  • About brain
    Seizure Background
Adopted and was born with birth defects with Neurological problems which also includes Epilepsy, all which is rare and progressive in nature. For added insult, sustained T.B.I. (Traumatic Brain Injury) twice (1988, 2007). In addition, have also cardiac issues as well which makes everything a delicate, complex, and complicated case. My medical history comes in volumes, not in files, since 1962 and still is on-going to this present date. Having underwent through everything as a tiny child to current present day - I've been through it all except brain surgery, that's been twice "killed" by HMO's, and the attempt in 2006 fell apart. However, in 2008 --- ???? --- we will see what will become of it. As for Medications, far too much whereas I've been in toxicity range too many times that in this present current state, my own physical body has taken its toll, all of this - just to control the seizures! I am pure intractable / refractory, AND running out of options, "if ever" anything happens to the current anti-epileptic drugs I am on, there's going to be serious trouble brewing.
