Though this has been a bad year for giant pumpkins in our area, I still have one in the 300 pound range (less than half of last year). Our local Pumpkin festival is next Saturday and will include a giant pumpkin weight contest. Last year we had 5 over 1000 pounds at our festival.

I think a pumpkin party here at CWE with pics of our local festival would be great in a couple of weeks when I get caught up after the local festival. I will add to my albums as soon as I get a chance.

I know Robin is going to laugh at this, but we even serve pumpkin BRATS. Yes, Ann - VERY SLIMY!!!

    Hello, Buckeye:
This will be an "Earth to Ann, come in Ann...Hello, are you there, Ann?" kind of question, but here goes: Do you make pies, breads, & Halloween decorations with the pumpkins you grow? And, are pumpkin guts as slimy as I've heard they are? ~Ann T.

    Hello Buckeye:
Your post at the padded forum triggered my interest to reply. I usually just browse through the different forums but this particular one caught my eye.
    Thanks,

Hi Buckeyefan - I wanted to thank you for the Happy Birthday message. I'm a big Penn State Nittany Lion fan. Although you're a big Buckeyes fan, we can be friends & wish your team well this year. Sincerely, Josie

    Hi Buckeye

Hope you are ok mate, and that the weather where you are is better than it is here in the UK? We have had no Summer, and are sat here watching the German Grand Prix. Hope you are well!
