    Laurie,
I know what you mean about stress, and here is something that might help you. Rember to always try a relaxation technique of your choice. Then cut out excess noise and other inteferances and if you have to put cotton in your ears. And do this for 30 to 45min. and meditate on something positive.

Hey, David - A little tired today so I'm trying to avoid stressors. Great that you're reading about Epilepsy with a new approach. If you're ever ready would be interested in what you're learning. Good luck with the doctors! You're special, too! Always Laurie

    Hello Laurie,
How are you doing today? Well I haven't heard back from some of my doctors for awhile so I am going to get in touch with them today. Because the for seeable future is looking grim right now! And today makes it 8 months since I started having severe medical issues that started in my legs, then stomach, and in now my back! I thought I had these issues resolved but apparently not! I hope you have a better day than I do. Just keep praying for me!

    Hi Laurie

I hope I'm doing this right and that you get my messages, I am trying to sus it out but I am the true technophobe.

I hope you are doing ok, and haven't had any seizure problems? I have had a couple of really bad days, but I put it down to stress as I'm so worried about the op on 26th June. I am dreading that moment when Mark has taken me down to London, and then has to go and leave me, I just hope that when I next see my darling man that I recognise him, this is what I am terrified of, I just want to wake up and be rid of my seizures for the rest of my life!
I have actually applied for a job today, it doesn't start until September, and it's in the next village to where we live, I could almost walk there and back, it's just to work on the reception of a vetenary practice that is due to open up, it would be ok I guess, we'll see, I have to get back to work soon, I am no good being stuck in the house all day, I'm sure you know what I mean? What did you do for a living when you were working?

Thanks for your kind comments on my poetry, I really only do it for fun, but it's something I've always done, I'm trying to write in different styles, a friend of mine is in a writers guild, and has had a lot of stuff published, he suggested that I try some different styles, but I guess I'm just so used to the way that I write, I have done some serious poetry, but I think it's fun to laugh at life! I love your work too, I just haven't had a chance to get on and put any comments on there, I don't really feel qualified to say anything about people's work, it's such a personal thing isn't it writing? I just enjoy it.

Anyway, I hope you are ok, it would be great to hear back from you soon, and keep me in your heart on 26th June? Many thanks.

    Love & Best Wishes

    HI Laurie
Did go read your new post. i agree just sit back and let other people just post for a while. People will talk about each others poem, just got to let them take it slow. Let them be able to go some were that they can feel safe. We don`t want people backing away from forum.

Thanks David - "Angels Among Us" is certainly worth reading again. I imagine you went into The Page, read my recant and then how your poem affected me today. We're all human, even group starters, and I appreciate your solace...Always Laurie

    Seizure Background
Nearly two years ago, I had my first T/C Seizure and several since, sustaining injuries.
After examining my MRI with my neurologist and answering a list of questions, he gave me
the diagnosis of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. I asked him why know in mid life? He explained
that I could have been having forms of TLE seizures all my life. TLE is connected with
experiencing the paranormal. I've had let's say "other worldly" experiences throughout
my life. I've been diagnosed with Bi-Polar and treated for it successfully for nearly eight
years. Fortunately, Lamicatal does "double duty" aiding Epilepsy and TLE. Five years ago
I was diagnosed with DID. As with Epilepsy I'd like to advocate and bring it out of the
closet as well. It's been studied and researched that TLE, Bi-Polar and DID are all
interconnected. Theories but no conclusive evidence. So, I live with many questions.
Though, my first priority is learning more about Epilepsy in general and how to manage
    my life around it.
