- Seizure Background
- I started having seizures when I was 22 years old. I wasn't sure what they were initially. They started
out as simple partial, then complex partial, and then one morning I experienced my 1st tonic/clonic as
I was stepping out of the shower, and as I fell, I fell onto the hot water and suffered 2nd degree burns
on my back & left arm, side. I was in the hospital for 2 months. - Treatments
- Now I am taking Keppra-3000 mgs/day, Topamax-200mgs/day. Have a VNS. I also had an unsuccessful LTL.
