- Seizure Background
- My 10 year old daughter had her first TC seizure on 2/25/08 and nearly a month later we received the confirmation that she has Juvienile Myoclonic Epilepsy with at least six types of seizures. Once she had the TC we began researching and realized that she had been having absence seizures since early childhood and had been having various other seizures for the past 6 months. We are still in the early stages of diagnosis and treatment.

- Weaning from Phenobarbital 30 mg-2x daily; starting a gradual increase of Depakote; Lorazepam to treat cluster seizures
