- Seizure Background
- I have a 6 year old son who had a perinatal stroke and has right hemiplegic CP. We're working with his Neuro to figure out whether or not his "absence" spells and screaming migraines are seizure related. She believes he has focal seizures but eeg is showing no seizure activity. His injury is in the MAC territory and involves the frontal lobe but his eeg shows focal slowing in the entire left hemisphere. We're trying to decide if it's post seizure of from migraine or if he has greater damage than we thought. We're also trying to decide if it's worth it to medicate......We've decided it its.
