- it began when i was 1yr. old and got worse but when my periods began it disappeared almost completely bar a few. I was well controlled for many years until my second child was born and it returned monthly pre-period. After seeing a gynacologist and having alot of tests he thought I should have a hysterectomy with the ovaries also removed which I did. My son is almost 30 and for years I have tried dozens of pills along with the usual ones I take. I'm almost 59 and have stopped being a gyni-pig (hope that's spelt right). Is there anything you could suggest I try?
