- Diagnosed with epilepsy at age 17. Have been on Dilantin and Neurontin for 17 years. Recently got off Dilantin due to bone loss. Haven't had generalized seizure in over 7 years. Haven't had aura in over 3 years. UPDATE: Had Aura and Full Blown Seizure on Feb 7th 2011. My Neuro had put me back on AED again. I'm taking Keppra I HATE DRUGS!!!!!!
