- Seizure Background
- Epilepsy entered my life over 40 years ago when I had my first gran mal seizure.
I believe stress was a big factor in triggering my seizures. Often my brain would seize after I had dealt with the stressful situation as if demanding it now take a rest.
I am lucky that my seizures are now under control but my last EEG still showed epileptic activity in all areas of my brain so I've accepted that I will be on medication for the rest of my life. - Treatments
