- Seizure Background
- I was recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Generalized Epilepsy. I feel like I've been hit by a MACK truck. I'm going into this all blind-folded and have so much to learn. And, no, I was not always this way. I started having seizures about 6 months ago. Now I'm dealing with medication and it's side effects and the whole new world of living with Epilepsy. So many questions....
- Treatments
- Topamax - 250mg daily (125mg in AM / 125mg in PM). Triggers: bright lights/loud noises/stress (I avoid these things as best I can)
