Hello Dutch Mom, thank u so much. I will take a good look at SOS-MIES. I think it’s about time I look for some voluntary work in the E front. It’s time to give back a little. I do work fulltime but I would love to make time to do something that counts.. Would you have any suggestions?

The diet is more of a modfied atkins, i'm on it because the doctors can't get me into prescribe my anti-epileptic drug's yet. I won't be on the diet forever just until I can start taking medication. My diet follows pretty much the same as a person with type 2 diabetes would: a lot of meat, very low carb content. For children ketosis diets usually start in the hospital. I can give you options of the kind of meals I make; but each diet is different so my diet might not be yours. However, if there's any way I can help I will give you as much information as I can

We tried but she refused to stay on the diet. It was very hard when my other two kids would eat one thing and she couldn't. We tried diffrent meal times but that didnt work. She is a very stubborn and lovable girl.
