- Seizure Background
- Had my first seizure 1995 in a morning in June 1995 at age 32years. In an induced coma for 4 days.
Eventually diagnosed with a brain tumour (Grade 3 oligoastrocytoma) in left frontal lobe.
Had brain surgery and radiotherapy. Successfully removed & treated.
Had epilepsy since then. Been on Dilantin since then. Sporadic break through Tonic clonic seizures every few months to every few years since then. Eventually returned to work.
Two unexlplained seizures in first half of 2010. Nine months and three MRI's later, found thet the tumour had recurred after 16 f'ing years. Good fun.
Another operation and 6 months of chemotherapy with Temozolomide, and here we are.
Slowly getting back to work 2 days per week. Feel OK.

- Dilantin 350mg at night, and Keppra 500mg 2x a day.
