Well going from tegretol to keppra is difficult. Doc told me that Tegretol was among the hardest drug to get off of. All together it took almost 6 weeks to go from being on tegretol to both tegretol and keppra to finally just being on Keppra. I had alot of anxiety during that time and started taking a high B Complex Potency. over time the side effects lessened but I am still taking the B Complex 100, Calcium, Magnesium . When I was just on Tegretol beside my liver count being off (its now back to normal since being off Tegretol) with just being on Tegretol I often suffered from being just a little spacey making me want to avoid sometimes going to the Mall. I don't feel that way with Keppra. Keppra just seems to bring out the anger issues but that lessens over time and for some people it can be alleviated with BVitamins.

What I'd like to ask you is about your shift from tegretol to kepra and the side effects.
Can you explain to me what side effects you expirenced and how kepra makes you feel?
With tegretol I've always felt a little off 100%, a little jaded.

I have nocturnal seizures. I used to take Cabatrol but now I take Keppra 1500 mg. I also suffer from migraines.
