- UPDATE: 9/15/09- I have not had a seizure since mid December. Having trouble adjusting to non-seizure life BUT I am getting counseling :) :) Funny isn't it? Epilepsy affects everyone deeply and I am not ashamed to say that counseling is amazing and that I attend it.
UPDATE April 9, 2009: I am seizure free for 3 months after a minor dental surgery procedure. They filed down a bone growth due to a horrible wisdom tooth extraction. I am still on medications and it is still necessary to control seizures, I assume the bone growth just triggered them. But yes! Seizure free!!
UPDATE!!! :) I only have a seizures right before I fall asleep, whether it be a nap or for the night, but that is soooo much better than having seizures every day after 5 pm. I can drive again!!! :) :)
I had seizures as a child. Only on the right side, frequent...but they went away. Summer before senior year of high school I had my wisdom teeth pulled out. I think I had nerve damage, but anyway it triggered the same side again. They're different, but I still have obnoxious episodes daily. - Treatments
- Tegretol XR 400mg 1morn & 2night, Lamictal 25 mg-200mg 2 night Folic Acid 2x daily.
