    Seizure Background
My 3 year old daughter started having seizures at the age of 1. She has a severe brain injury and we were told to prepare for this, among other outcomes. She has defied the medical community and we are thankful for that, and now we are trying to figure out these seizures, that are constantly changing. She started on phenobarb at 1 year and when she was almost 3 we changed her to trileptal. The behaviours and mood swings changed drastically with the med change and her development started to boom in leaps and bounds. We love that she is no longer on phenobarb, but now we are experiencing some more serious seizures. Looking for advice and wisdom from others who have walked this journey before us.
