- Seizure Background
- *Type of seizures I have are: Absence with clonic component,atonic component and/or autonomic component,Myoclonic,Tonic-Clonic,Simple Partial(sensory,autonomic and psychic) & Complex Partial.
*Triggers: Forgetting to take medication,getting sick or am sick,extreme stress with sleep deprevation,hormonal flunctuation/ menses,flashing/flickering light,open flourescent lighting,sitting on top/close to a tv or projector screen,certain odors(boiling garlic,fish,strong purfume of cologne),low blood surgar & smacking my head.
*Cause: Unknown/According to 2nd opinion neuro/epileptologist said; it could be from many factors.Premature birth,Cerebral Palsy,having very rare genetic disorders/Triple x syndrome & Tetrasomy X syndrome(47,XXX/XXXX chromosome mutation) and/or genetics since I have 3 members in my family who have seizures.
..0ther than my epilepsy, I am a student who is attending college. - Treatments
- Lamictal 250mlg/twice a day,Vitamins D & B,Calcium,diet,aromatherapy of Orange and Lavander & Dizepam if needed(status-epilepticus).
