    Seizure Background
I was diagnosed at 15 with epilepsy. I had a generalized tonic clonic in my math class and that basically started everything. Since then i have been on a multitude of medications and tests that have never worked. I also have another problem, every medication I have taken, my body builds up a tolerance to it within 8 months to a year and prevents me from taking it because they cannot exceed the perscription level limit. At 22 i stopped taking medications completely because i was too frustrated and could not afford the medication since I was not working(no one would hire me because of epilepsy) at 28 i met my wife (who is Australian) and moved to Australia. After a while my seizures went from once a week to once a month and then even fewer than that. I then quit smoking and low and behold i did not have a seizure for 5 years, not even a petit mal. However, 2 years ago they started again, not as often, but more violent than ever before. So much that my wife had to call the hospital because they were so violent and there were so many of them.
