- i first was diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 7, im now sixteen going on 17 and came out of hospital the other day after bieng overdosed on tegratol retard which i was taking until recently, ive now changed on to lamatical, which in all honesty is doing the same as the tegratol, not much, it controlls my large attacks but i still suffer from absences on a daily basis unabling me to drive, something im also trying to accept, as many of my friends have started driving lessons and i feel asif its loosing abit of indipendce, my mum keeps saying oh its okay, ill drive you, but at 17-18, its not the coolest thing :P. but yeah thats pretty upsetting i seem to have a arge seziure every 6-8 months, and have had many at school, i have no triggers and no warning signs!
