- i have had epilepsy since i was 5 been on various meds including phenobarb which im allergic too, i am now on valium, tegretol and depakote to manage them. I still have about 1-2 a week even on the 3 meds...also i have both tonic-clonic and petite mal seizures... so either way it hurts
