- I've had epilepsy since I was 12. I'm 53 now, and realize that a lot of my life has been hidden. I've discovered this web site and some others like it and think the more we know about E, the better. I want to take control of my seizures by doing everything I possibly can. I want to make changes in my life and be open to other people's ideas not just my neurologist.
