- I'm pretty sure I've been dealing with my issue for most, if not all of my life. What started as horrendous migraines as a child has since given way to both tonic-clonic and focal seizures, which I was diagnosed with about 12 years ago. Since then, it's stood in my way of maintaining any type of gainful employment for any respectable amount of time-most recently as a 21 dealer in Las Vegas. I'm tired of it! I want a resective surgery to correct the seizures but I don't have insurance or money. I'm trying desperately to hold on to my one-bedroom apartment, where I live with my wife and our six-month-old daughter, Alana. I love them and want to do a good job as a husband/father/provider, but it's becoming apparent that my best isn't going to be good enough as long as my head's broken.
